Large Open Territories
Pinned PlannedLarge or even very large maps that encompass several existing maps hooked together in a "closer to open world" feeling.
Preferably with free reign and no timers. 2 Forces enter. 1 force comes out with the deed in hand.

While not the exact implementation described, this is on the horizon in steps and is part of many an interview and such.
And yes, you can post links to forum threads from here, that is exactly the preferred method for general discussion.
So if you combine the Garrison (ie hub) ideas with the possible types of spokes, then you can apply more rules achieving a lot of those things.
Note, a large map does not necessarily mean more players. There is plenty to fill up an area like that with various types of encounters, even with just 4 x 5 players + nids. The scaling isn't map size bound as much as it is player bound.

I guess that technically speaking it would be easier to start by linking territories on the World map before merging them in a unique huge map. And actually it's what has been planned in the Road to Open World stream long ago.
Voted this up, and suggesting to also vote for my request about a meaningful World map : https://bhvrmtl.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/255629866-Meaningful-World-map-progression-system

lol I see really old, original ideas which were mocked by many are now being rehashed as a solution to the pathological state of the game. A bit too late guys, BHVR has got hands full with other basic stuff now, besides who'd be playing on those beautiful large battlefields now - squats, lol :D ?

Large open territories
objective points mean prizes - factions battle over extra support options such as vehicle spawn sites turrets etc. Bases can be kept and manned. No timers the match is persistent. win/lose condition can be x number of kills or the capture of the whole territory which could mean sectoree lock and progression onto the next large territory.
We really want to see 16x16km maps. Please give them to us.
